Independent Label Market is returned to Old Spitalfields Market on 25th November for its final event of 2017, the annual Winter Market supported by Association of Independent Music. Label favourites out in full force included 4AD, Because, Brownswood, Cooking Vinyl, Erased Tapes, Fabric, Full Time Hobby, Ghostly International, Heavenly, Lucky Number Music, Mute, One Little Indian, Play It Again Sam, Rough Trade, Secretly Canadian, Transgressive and Warp. WinkBall reporters Jackie Adedeji and Pooja Chhabria went to cover the event.
Pooja Chhabria has worked both in front and behind the camera at WinkBall. She graduated from City University with an MA and has just been selected for a fellowship position with the BBC. Pooja has covered an array of events for WinkBall some of which has been some of our best reports to date.
Jackie Adedeji graduated from Nottingham Trent University with a degree in broadcast journalism. She has been working as a reporter for WinkBall since the start and has covered some of our best events to date. Whilst working at WinkBall she has worked as a studio and production runner for the likes of Channel 4, ITV and BBC.
