The London based band, Lonsdale Boys Club, are hard to pigeonhole in terms of genre. Some describe their sound as a “"fusion of disco funk, rock, soul and a little bit of 90’s Brit Pop". Despite being a relatively fresh, young band, Lonsdale Boys Club have already picked up a good following. They have played to a 1,000 plus crowd at Proud Galleries in Camden, supported Olly Murs on a UK arena tour and have begun their own headline tour. Affiliated with Gary Barlow’s Future records, Lonsdale Boys Club will release their music through Island Records. The video for their first single “Light me Up” was released in March 2012 and has reached over a quarter of a million hits of YouTube. Their headline tour took them to Borderline in London on Wednesday, 2nd May 2012, where WinkBall reporters caught up with their fan base.
