Fans went crazy for American rapper Nas and Jamaican reggae artist Damian Marley when they performed together at Wembley Arena on Thursday 31st March. Nas and Marley began recording together in 2008 to produce their collaborative studio album, Distant Relatives, released in 2010 and featuring guest artists Stephen Marley, Joss Stone, Lil Wayne and K’naan. The album fuses musical elements of hip-hop and reggae and features lyrical themes that concern ancestry, poverty, and the plight of Africa. The album debuted at number five in the US Billboard 200 chart and received positive review from many music critics.
