See what attendees of the London Naked Bike Ride had to say to our reporters!
There are not many people who can say that they have cycled through England's capital naked but this year more than a thousand daring and crazy individuals took part in the London Naked Bike Ride. This event is organised to raise awareness and tolerance for those who ride bikes on the road of this charming and wonderful city. Last year there were about a thousand riders in London alone and a further thousand in rides all over the United Kingdom. This years bike ride was a chance for all cyclists to prove to the World that this is a great, healthy and alternative mode of transport for travelling around. Although this is a totally naked ride, participants were not obliged to strip off completely and you could go as bare as you dare, with some cyclists in pants, shirts and underwear helping them on their merry way. WinkBall citizen video reporters were at Hyde Park on Saturday, 11th June 2011, talking to the clothed and not so clothed about why they are at the event, what inspired them to get involved and what are they hoping to achieve from the day.
