Rays of Sunshine is a Children’s Charity formed in 2004 with the sole aim of granting wishes to children aged 3-18 with life-limiting illnesses and entertaining thousands of other young people through hospital activities and events. So far 2395 wishes have been granted which have enabled families and their sick children to have a break from their daily routine of medication and hospital appointments to create happy memories. Any child with a serious illness can apply for his/her wish to be granted by the Sunshine Children’s Charity. The process is simple; first, an application form is completed on behalf of the child and taken to the Appeals committee of Sunshine Children’s Charity. Within two weeks of the receipt of the application form, the family are informed which wish has been granted. This wish is turned a happy memory giving the child and their family an unforgettable experience. On Thursday 7th of June, Rays of Sunshine held a concert at the Royal Albert Hall; on the bill were JLS, Leona Lewis, Adam Lambert, Pixie Lott, Conor Maynard, StooShe, Diversity, Spelbound and special guests perform at the Rays of Sunshine Concert. Judging from the reviews our WinkBall video reporters had from last night, all the parents and their children had a blast! Good work Rays of Sunshine!
