Gus Lobban - Music Computing

The Department of Computing at Goldsmiths, University of London sees the interdisciplinary approach to be the core of its identity. We run undergraduate and postgraduate degree programmes that include the application of computer science to the arts, media, music, design, games, psychology and business. Students were asked: why choose the Computing course at Goldsmiths? The responses were positive, with attention focusing on teaching quality and recommendation from other students. A lot of students looked at the success pass-rate, location, and if the course offers a pathway to gainful employment after completing their degree. Goldsmiths is the only University in London that offers a Foundation course in computer science, which puts them one step above the rest in offering the basics to Computer Science. Goldsmiths also boasts a more comfortable and relaxed feeling for students with a good rating of attention to the individual.
