Now going ten years strong, the smash hit jukebox musical ‘We Will Rock’ celebrated this fantastic milestone last night on Monday 14th May 2012 with it’s anniversary performance at the Dominion Theatre last night. Based on the songs of legendary rock band Queen, the musical set to an exciting tongue in cheek science fiction premise paved the way for jukebox musicals when it first opened back in 2002. Despite being panned by critics initially, this musical has constantly been a box office hit due to the timelessness of its music and being adored by some of Queen’s biggest fans. Penned by comedy writer Ben Elton, the Blackadder scribe was there at the Dominion Theatre last night along with producer Robert De Niro and Queen’s own Brian May, to celebrate this exciting night and celebrate ten years of ‘We Will Rock You!’ WinkBall video reporters were at the Dominion Theatre last night speaking to fans that had come to see the ‘We Will Rock You’ anniversary performance and finding out why they think the show has been such a massive hit and what is it they personally love about the show?
