Donny Tourette, the English singer-songwriter best known for his work with the pop rock band Towers of London, thought that the gig was worth coming to. He thought they had an edge and the band caught his eyes and ears.
The Naked and Famous are a rock band who hail from Auckland, New Zealand. Known for fusing alternative, industrial and electropop sounds, the group has been able to secure an international fan base. Their debut single "Young Blood" reached number one in the New Zealand chart in 2010, making them the first New Zealand artist to do so in over three years. They were also nominated for the BBC's Sound of 2011 poll.
