On Friday 1st July, it was the beginning of celebrations at music Cornbury Festival. Known as ‘Posh-stock’ for its quaint, homely and rural country surroundings, the Cornbury Festival is now in its eight year. This year the festival has found a new location at the Great Tew Park in the Oxfordshire countryside and with this bigger and better home, the festival has gone from strength to strength. A family friendly festival, the Cornbury Festival had a host of great acts set to perform and things kicked off Friday with pop acts the likes of quirky pop singer Eliza Doolittle, new-wave pop singer songwriter and musical legend Cyndi Lauper and acoustic soft-rocker James Blunt who headlined. WinkBall video reporters were amidst the fun of the first day of the Cornbury Festival and speaking to the many locals and music fans that had come to see some of the great acts Cornbury Festival 2011 had to offer. Asking them who they were looking forward to see perform, fans were also asked what had brought them to Cornbury Festival, if this was their first time and what is their top survival tip for a music festival. Were you at the Cornbury Festival this weekend? What did you think of the festivities? Record your view to this video wall now!
