On the 10th May our WinkBall reporters George and Ralph headed to the Barbican where The Surreal House exhibition was taking place with additional performances and talks creating the event ' Fairytales'. The exhibition showed surrealist artwork from the likes of Salvador Dali, Marcel Duchamp, Alberto Giacometti, René Magritte and Man Ray. We spoke to the public at the event asking how they enjoyed the night - what they liked and didn't like about the night, what piece they would take home with them if they could, what they think of the surrealist movement. We also got a chance to speak to Alice in Sunderland Author - Bryan Talbo, shadow-play operettas - Matthew Robin with his highly acclaimed 'Insect opera' and much more!
