From the 2nd of October to the 5th of October 2011, Manchester was the setting for the annaul autumn conference of the Conservative Party. After being out of government for over 13 years, the Conservatives found themselves enter a coalition government with the Liberal Democrat Party after the 2010 general election resulted in a hung parliament and no party with a clear majority. Now a year into government and with David Cameron now as Prime Minister, it was time once again for the Conservative Party's annual autumn conference. WinkBall video reporters were in Manchester for the Conservative Party Conference speaking to the many MPs, Lords, Ministers and prominent party members. They found out from them what they believed to be the core values of the party in 2011, what they see as the key battles in the months ahead and their thoughts on the idea of a green economy? Speaking to MPs the likes of Transport Secretary Philip Hammond, Work and Pensions Secretary Iain Duncan Smith and Justice Secretary Ken Clarke, WinkBall were able to create a unique video snapshot of conference. Hear what they had to say.
