British comedian Phil Jupitus played his Edinburgh Festival warm-up show in Bolton. Just 100 tickets were available for the Never Mind The Buzzcocks star’s appearance at the Lancaster Suite of the Albert Halls on July 2. This was the first time Jupitus had played in Bolton. Half of the show was to be a preview of his new material, while the other half aims to focus back to his early days as a comedy poet. WinkBall citizen video reporters were on hand to catch the opinions of thos in the audience.
