Nia is one of two reporters at Rough Trade East collecting the views and praises of fans of Jazzsteppa before and after their gig.
On Friday 3rd June, WinkBall citizen video reporters Nia and Vyas were at Rough Trade East where dubstep group JazzSteppa performed before an appreciative UK audience. The London-Berlin collective are widely considered the first outfit to release and play live dubstep with acoustic instruments and are heralded for their hybrid of Jazz and IDM electronica. With 5 released tracks in the charts the group are ready to release a debut album 'Hyper Nomads' and are travelling across Europe to give fans a taste of their material. We asked fans in attendance what they loved about the band, their views on dubstep as a genre and who they'd like to see JazzSteppa work with.
