WinkBall citizen video reporter Sharon signs into the Photo and Film Expo

Boasting as the largest photographic expo on the African continent, the Photo & Film Expo held at the Coca-Cola Dome from 13-16 October 2011, was a landmark event not to be missed by avid photographers from around South Africa. And it certainly drew the “happy-snapping” crowds! Photographers were offered the rare opportunity to compare all their favourite photographic brands and have access to full product ranges, in a hands-on platform. The expo offered photographers the chance to both network and learn, with 100 free workshops and demonstrations spanning the 4 days, world-renowned international and local photographers speaking on their passion and experience, and a dedicated Adobe workshop area with presentations outlining all the major features of CS5. The expo also encompassed the unlimited range of photographic applications possible, including a full fashion studio set-up, a wedding area and a demo inside a blow up studio! WinkBall citizen video reporters Sharon and Tshepang were there to capture a candid “a slice of life” at the expo, as they asked attendees for their views on the event. If you were at this “trigger-happy” expo, but were not interviewed, upload your thoughts on the expo and photographic industry in South Africa, to this wall now.
