Winkball were at a packed city hall talking to science fans ahead of the Uncaged monkeys lectures. Brian Cox, Simon Singh, Ben Goldacre, Robin Ince and Richard Wiseman all took to the stage in what can only be described as a mix of mini-amusing-lectures. The fact that they had packed city hall shows how popular science is in the modern world, be it physics with Brian Cox and Simon Singh, Psychology with Wiseman or Psychiatry with Goldacre, it seems that the public had a real hunger for knowledge. This is especially true when it is served up in such an amusing way, mainly due to comedy writer Robin Ince.
