It was the second day of festivities at Cornbury Festival 2011 on Saturday 2nd July 2011. Situated this year at the new location of the Great Tew Park in Oxfordshire, the Cornbury Festival is an eclectic mix of arts and crafts fairs, family fun and fantastic pop music acts. Saturday’s line-up for the Cornbury Festival this year was an array of fantastic rock and pop acts and one that rivalled any other great British music festival. Rockabilly and rock singer Imelda May was just one of the big acts set to play the festival in addition to disco and electro-pop singer Sophie Ellis-Bextor, godfather of Brit-pop and former Kinks’ front man Ray Davies and main headliner act The Faces who now comprised of original members Ronnie Wood, Kenney Jones, Ian McLagan and new members Mick Hucknall and Glen Matlock, replacing former lead singer Rod Stewart and the late Ronnie Lane on bass. WinkBall video reporters were speaking to the many fans that Cornbury brought, asking them what were their expectations of Mick Hucknall as new lead singer of The Faces, what other acts they were looking forward to seeing and what had been their highlight from last night. Were you at the Cornbury Festival this weekend? What did you think of the festivities? Record your view to this video wall now!
