The Bolton born comedian and star of Phoenix nights was at Newcastle’s Journal Tyne Theatre for his new tour. However, Dave spikey was not always a top class comedian; he started out as a biomedical scientist before finding success in comedy. Since finding comedy, Spikey has worked as a scriptwriter, an author and an actor as well as being renowned as one of the best stand-ups in the UK. Winkball was at the theatre chatting to fans about Dave Spikey and we even got Dave Spikey’s opinion on the fans in the northeast!
