Welsh musician Gruffydd Maredudd Bowen Rhys, otherwise known as Gruff Rhys, returns to the music scene with his trademark cinematic, kaleidoscopic pop and a third solo album ‘Hotel Shampoo.’ Rhys has had a healthy career in the music industry since the early 90’s performing with groups such as Super Furry Animals, Ffa Coffi Pawb, Mogwai and more recently Neon Neon, the new electro pop project formed in collaboration with Boom Blip. WinkBall video reporters Archie, Sofia and Zoe were at the O2 Shepherds Bush Empire on Thursday, 12 October 2011, capturing the passion of fans excited to catch a bit of Gruff!
