Sarah Millican at the Journal Tyne Theatre
by Entertainment Reporters
As one of the best comedians in the country at the moment, a lot is expected of Miss Millican, especially considering she is a relative new comer to the profession. Having only started performing in 2004 it’s even more remarkable that she managed to win the best newcomer at the Edinburgh Fringe in 2008, and then having the second best show in 2010 only just losing out on the top spot to Russell Kane. She is also a regular on the UK’s best loved panel shows, has her own radio 4 show and is even now a “Loose Woman”. With her comedy covering anything from relationships, life in South Shields and “BRT” she has the ability to be incredibly inclusive with her comedy, making everyone from Old Ladies to young lads laugh.
Winkball were at the Journal Tyne Theatre covering one of her sold out homecoming gigs, asking the fans why they like Miss Millican so much and what makes her different from the rest.
