Breakin' Convention is the largest international festival of Hip-Hop dance theatre hosted and curated by Jonzi D. The artistic director, Jonzi D has been actively involved in British Hip Hop and b-boying since its genesis in the early eighties. Taking place at Sadler’s Wells Theatre London; this year’s festival showcases the freshest street dance styles alongside performances from top international Hip Hop dance crews. Breaking conventions will be on tour around the UK until 2nd June. The festival took place in London over the Bank Holiday weekend, Saturday 5th May to Monday 7th May; Winkball video reporters were present at the venue to speak to participants and audience, about their experience.
