The Herne Hill Veloderome is the oldest cycling track in the country and home of the 1948 Olympic Cycling Championships. This structure, with its rich history has been the place of learning and influence for hundreds of aspiring cyclists, including three-time Olympic gold medalist Bradley Wiggins. Now, due to deterioration and lack of funding, the Velodrome faces closure.
