Saturday 26th December 2012 - The Britpop vs hip hop duo from Brighton blew up in 2011, getting themselves on the Radio 1 playlists thanks to DJ Fearne Cotton’s love for Rizzle and Sylvester’s sound. Even on a cold evening there were plenty of people getting Down With The Trumpets and Mama’s (and guys) doing The Hump and dances in various other guises. Their fanbase has grown exponentially in the past year, and looks to keep expanding thanks to their remixes and performances with various other popular performers: Jessie J, Ed Sheeran and Olly Murs who made a very well received guest appearance performing with the boys at the Brit awards. Thankfully, they are not a Stereo Typical modern music duo; their tracks are a concoction of pop and hip-hop… Hip-pop?... With a smattering of old school hip-hop influence and a bit of brass section. Check out their fans that braved the cold outside the HMV Institute in Birmingham for a fun night of Trumpets and Hump-type-dancing. We love them, their fans love them...
