Peter Doherty performed live on Friday, 23rd September at the O2 Brixton Academy for the first time since reforming the Libertines last year. His solo performance was well-anticipated by his loyal fans who all seem to share an outstanding love for, undoubtedly, one of the most influential and talented young indie rock musicians of this new century. The controversial rocker and Libertines/Babyshambles front man has carried a lot of bad press around his shoulders for an incredibly long time, but hopefully this can be the start of a renewed and refreshed career. Taking away all the distractions, the focus will be on him and his acoustic guitar for an evening of intelligent song-writing and singing.
