Dean is asking the participants about their training schedule and the public about their views and feelings about the London 2012 Olympics.
The second ever Newham London Run and the first Junior Newham London Run brought the sights of Stratford alive and took place on the morning of Sunday 27th March 2011. As well as the challenge of competing the 10 km run, participants had the opportunity to enter the Olympic park site and have a look at the Olympic Stadium where both the opening and closing ceremonies will take place in 2012. This years route took the runners through Westfield Stratford City, Stratford High Street, the Olympic Park, the Greenway and Stratford Park. Billions of pounds have been invested in Newham to makes sure that the 2012 Olympic will leave a memorable and lasting legacy. WinkBall citizen video reporters were there asking participants about their nutrition and training regimes in preparation for the event. They also asked people to give their views on the Olympics, are they excited about the big event, what events are they looking forward to and will London 2012 have a positive effect on the community?
