Week three and game four of the npower championship season saw West Ham take on Leeds United at Upton Park. West Ham were hoping to secure three straight wins which would give them their best start in 12 years and help boost their bid for promotion back to the premiership; however Leeds have promotion targets of their own and after suffering a stuttering start to the season they wanted to put things right to set them back on the play-off trail.
