On Tuesday, 25th October 2011, Arsenal went head to head with the Bolton Wanderers as part of the Carling Cup. The Gunners took the victory of 2-1 at Emirates Stadium after coming back from a one-goal deficit. It was Arshavin that saved the day, allowing the North London club to progress to the quarter finals.
