Although the sky was darkened with storms clouds, a spectacular Carols by Candle Light was put together by local radio station Jacaranda 94.2fm and Monte Casino. Attendees gathered in the Piazza of Monte Casino where the likes of Andrew Sorrill, Kurt Darren, Nianell, Romanz and the Soweto Gospel Choir entertained the crowds.
