South Africa's biggest Hip Hop event, Hip Hop Indaba, took place in Cape Town at The Goodhope Centre on the weekend of 6 August 2011. Hip Hop Indaba was created by non-profit organisation, Heal The Hood that uses hip hop as a form of offering young adults a better way of life away from gangs and drug addiction in SA. The Indaba showcased all elements of hip-hop including beat boxing, DJing, rap, hip-hop dance and graffiti. WinkBall citizen video reporters David, Sean.
