Turning out to be the biggest success story for last year’s X Factor; One Direction last night as usual left spirits soaring at the HMV Hammersmith Apollo. Placing third on the seventh series of the X Factor did not hold back the British-Irish boy band as they worked hard to become the POP sensation of 2011. One would say the odds were on their side as they become the third fastest selling single of 2011 with ‘What Makes You Beautiful’, and their debut album ‘Up All Night’ also became the 16th biggest selling album of the year. On Wednesday 11th January 2012, WinkBall reporters Lucie and Lucio were at the Hammersmith Apollo to speak to fans of One Direction.
