WinkBall citizen video reporters were at Manchester Academy 1 on Wednesday 18th May 2011 for Pete Doherty. The ex-Libertine frontman has had a notorious career including a starring role in bringing indie music to the mainstream, as well as several arrests and cautions with regards to substance use. Yet such bad press cannot quell Doherty's talents, and especially his fans. Since breaking through with The Libertines, he went on to form Babyshambles, reunited with Carl Barat and co. before now opting to go solo once more. WinkBall reporters were at his Manchester gig to speak to fans young and old about the man many label as a 'true poet'.
