Tottenham Hotspur v Hearts

Tottenham Hotspur v Hearts

After destroying Hearts 5-0 during the first leg Spurs ran the risk of becoming complacent as the underdogs had a mammoth task on their hands to overturn the more powerful and skilful Premiership outfit at their home ground. After falling short of Champions League qualification last year Harry Redknapp’s men cannot afford to take chances with the Europa League. Hearts came to London looking to improve on their performance, and that they did. Redknapp effectively used the game as an opportunity to provide the younger and debutant Spurs players in the team like Kane, Carroll and Townsend with some experience. The much-changed line was enough to secure a 0-0 draw, but left the game with a training session taste that at time was a little lacklustre. Spurs could of clenched the game after 18yr old Harry Kane was brought down by Hearts keeper Jamie MacDonald but his penalty was saved. WinkBall citizen video reporters Archie, Daniel, Jack, Jess, Juliet, Lucio, Mark and Michael were at White Hart Lane asking fans from both teams what they thought the score would be on the night and for a match report after the game. What did YOU think of the game! Record a reply and have your say!
