WinkBall Reporters were at the International Sailing Conference in Weymouth on Wednesday, 20th October 2010, to talk to attendants and locals about their thoughts on the upcoming Olympic and Paralympic sailing competition. Local, national and international sailing events have been held at the site since it was opened in 2000, and in 2005 the Weymouth and Portland National Sailing Academy (WPNSA) was selected to host the sailing events at the 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games. Representatives, sponsors and competitors talked about their involvement in the Olympic and Paralympic sailing, and locals revealed what the sporting event means for Weymouth and Portland, and what change it will bring to the borough.
