Lawson have been posting acoustic performances of their original material on YouTube since early 2010. Their song "She" was featured on YouTube’s front page within days of being uploaded. They played gigs around the UK, including Wireless Festival and Ultrasound Festival They were a support act for The Wanted on their 'Behind Bars' tour in 2011, and supported The Saturdays on their 2011 tour. After signing to a major label, Lawson opened shows for acts such as Will Young, Avril Lavigne, and again for The Wanted on The Code tour, playing venues such as The O2 Arena. They performed their own headline tour in January 2012 and will support Westlife on the final dates of their farewell tour in Croke Park. They have also been added to the T In The Park line up for 2012. Their first single, 'When She Was Mine', was released on May 27, 2012. The band are now playing a headline tour beginning earlier this month, May 2012, in which they will visit locations such as Birmingham, London, Sheffield, Glasgow, Leeds and Nottingham. They have previously been on support tours with The Wanted, Avril Lavigne and Will Young.
