WinkBall video reporters were at the Barbican Hall on Friday 1st October to speak to the fans of Wagner, Dvořák and Lieberson with the BBC Symphony Orchestra. This beguiling programme is part of the BBC SO 2010-11 Barbican Season series in which passion, the pain of loss and the enduring power of love connect the works. The BBC Symphony Orchestra’s Chief Conductor launches its 80th season with the UK premiere of Peter Lieberson’s beautiful Neruda Songs sung by Sarah Connolly. Before the concert our citizen reporters asked the public what kind of performance they were expecting and how they came to know and love the Orchestra. After the show, we found out what they had to say. What do YOU think? Record your video here.
