Two great Celtic nations collided when Scotland took on Ireland at Murray field. After having a good autumn it seems that Scotland could fall back into anonymity after some poor performances cost them dear. Scotland have a lot to prove and ahead of their grudge match with England, but Ireland would not let them build up steam easily. Ireland have had a shaky start to their 6 nations but still have an outside chance of taking the title. However, in this world cup year, I imagine both sides will now be looking forward to New Zealand and trying to get their players ready for the ultimate test in the southern hemisphere.
