Men’s semi-finals day at Wimbledon is perhaps the most eagerly anticipated day of the competition as fans on centre court have a chance to see the top four men left in the competition battle it out for a place in the final. Although six time champion and fans favourite Roger Federer has packed his bags for another year, there is still three of the top four seeds left in the draw. First to play on centre court is the man who crushed Fed’s dreams, Jo-Wilfrd Tsonga. Tsonga’s flair and unpredictability will warm him to the centre court crowd as he attempts to defeat in form player Novak Djokovic, who has lost just one competitive match this year. Once the first finalist has been decided, the attention will instantly switch to Brit Andy Murray. Murray will have to be in imperious form if he is to reach the final, as he has World Number one Rafael Nadal standing in his way. After an uneasy victory in the fourth round Nadal quickly overcame his opponent in the quarter-finals with a comfortable victory over Mardy Fish. Murray’s three set demolition of Spaniard Lopez also showed his confidence and form ahead of this crunch tie. WinkBall video reporters were around the court on day ten of the tournament asking fans what they were expecting from the upcoming matches and what they made of yesterday’s performances.
