Guess who was back in town for a special one off performance at the newly renovated Islington Assembly Hall on Saturday 10th December, 2011? Yes, it was the amazing soul singer of the 1980s, Alexander O’Neal! Yes you heard right! Some say he is the best pure singer of the 1980’s, upbeat with a modern sound and singing technique. Others also have the opinion that he retold the story of love with his hit songs such as ‘If you were here tonight’, ‘Saturday love’, ‘Never knew love like this’, ‘Sunshine’, 'Criticize', Faith, and ‘Secret Lovers’. But there is no denying that the man from Mississippi is still growing strong. Winkball reporters Natasha and Zoe were at the Islington Assembly Hall to ask fans what they love about him, what type of artist he is and their review of the concert.
