SA vs Australia Twenty20 1

by Sport Reporter CT 2011

Sarah Cricket Park in Newlands, hosted two of cricket's greatest rivalled nations engaging in what amounts to three extended sparring sessions as they try new combinations during Australia's six-week tour of South Africa which begin on Thursday, 13th October 2011 with a Twenty20 international to kick off the games. There were two Twenty20 games, three one-day internationals and two test, which scarcely gave the teams a chance to get to grips with each other, especially as there were likely to be numerous personnel changes for each format. South Africa has a new captain in Hashim Amla for the T20s and one-day matches - and he would be leading the side only because new skipper AB de Villiers was injured while practicing for the Champions League Twenty20 in India. Both teams appointed new coaches with each out to prove they are worth their weight in gold. Winkball citizen reporters Kerusha and Kyle asked respective supporters what their thoughts were on the game, , if they had any advice for the manager and their scoreline predictions.
