On Saturday 2nd April, the England Women’s football team took on the USA Women’s football team in an International friendly at Leyton Orient's Matchroom Stadium. Ahead of the game, WinkBall caught up with the England team at their training session to speak to some of the players. Speaking to Coach Hope Powell, Captain Faye White, Anita Asante and England legends Rachel Yankey and Kelly Smith, WinkBall found out how morale was before the big game and looked ahead to the World Cup this summer in Germany. With Women’s football to play a big role in the Olympics next year, WinkBall also asked them what it meant for London to be hosting the Olympics come 2012. Speaking to the fans before and after the game, WinkBall reporters asked fans for their scored predictions and who was their player of the match.
