With Ghana ranked 16th in the world by FIFA, 10 places below England and both teams having won their last two matches, this historic event promised to be an exciting game. The Black Stars, were both excited and confident ahead of the match after their weekend win against Congo in their African Cup of Nations qualifier. Head coach Goran Stevanovic aimed to maintain his 100 per cent record as his team strived to be the first African team to defeat England at Wembley.
