On Wednesday 16th February WinkBall citizen video reporters Dean and Scott were at Scala where fans came out to see the mesmerising Brooklyn Based artist Citizen Cope. Citizen Cope's music crosses many genres whilst keeping it's own unique and casual groove; the depth of his songwriting and emotional resonance has been highly praised. In the US, Citizen Cope has just been No 1 on the iTunes Alternative Album chart, No 5 on Amazon's Overall Album Chart, sold over 500,000 albums and just sold out a 28-date tour with 6 sell out shows in New York. He's now bringing his sound to the UK exclusively in February with additional dates in Glasgow and Dublin.
