The Carshalton Lightweight professional boxer gives our WinkBall reporter his opinion on the current state of Boxing.
The quarter finals of the 2011 ABAE Elite Championships began on Sunday 3rd of April, with boxing taking place in various venues over the weekend. WinkBall video reporters were at Earlsfield Boxing Club in Wandsworth, to report at the prestigious event, which showcased a number of cracking bouts including, home favourite, Louis Adolphie, against two time ABA lightweight champion Martin Stead. The ABAE is currently geared towards delivering the Whole Sport Plan, which has been agreed with Sport England to deliver a Strategy for Growth from 2009 - 2013, for the next Olympic cycle, towards and beyond London 2012. When the gloves were off, we spoke to a variety of boxers including Emmanuel Izonritei, Anthony Joshua, Brett Beadon and Deion Jumah about their hopes and dreams for the Olympics. Friends and family who came to support them also shared their opinion with us on what they like about the sport. It was a day of top quality action, check out the vibe from the videos below!
