Bestival 2011 - Sunday

Event Date: 13/09/2011

Bestival is three days of the best, brightest and most happening musical acts set at Robin Hill near Newport in the heart of the Isle of Wight. This wonderful musical extravaganza was born out of a decade of innovative and progressive musical events and record releases from Rob da Bank's Sunday Best empire. This pioneering DJ had a vision of one day creating a fantastical modern day musical festival and with creative director and wife Josie da Bank and co-founders John and Ziggy, this dream was finally fulfilled. The first Bestival was held in September 2004 and was headlined by Basement Jaxx, Fatboy Slim, Zero 7 and The Bees. This years 2011 lineup dazzled and frazzled the musical fanatics from acts like The Cure, Bjork, Pendulum, The Maccabees, Public Enemy, Kelis, PJ Harvey, Robyn and much, much more. It was three days of musical and mythical mayhem that set peoples souls alight with absolute delight and wonder. WinkBall citizen video reporters were at Bestival 2011 from Friday 9 September - Sunday 11 September 2011, asking the fans why are they at Bestival, have they been to any other festivals this year and what does music mean to them.
