Caribbean Film Corner at The Tabernacle, Powis Square

Event Date: 17/09/2011

The Caribbean Film Corner's latest endeavour took them to The Tabernacle in Powis Square on Friday, 16th September. The purpose of this event was to successfully promote talented black producers, directors and stars of the film industry. Issues such as race misrepresentation are squandered as the film industry gathers to promote and share the hidden talent that we don't get a chance to witness. Excited attendees and the stars, themselves, gathered and spoke to our WinkBall video reporters who had an insightful evening in Powis Square. Our reporters asked attendees how important they think the Caribbean film industry is for culture, how important independent film making is and what the event achieves for society as a whole.
