Dougy Mandagi - lead singer of The Temper Trap

Summer is finally here, and the coming of this season was welcomed with a scintillating performance last night from Australian indie rock band The Temper Trap who played at London’s indie pop venue KOKO last night to rave reviews from fans. Formed in 2005, the band consists of lead singer Dougy Mandagi, and fellow members Jonathon Aherne, Toby Dundas, Lorenzo Sillitto and Joseph Greer. It was in 2009, where the band hit it big with their breakthrough single “Sweet Disposition”. One of the leading singles from their debut album ‘Conditions’, the song captured the imagination of people around the world, entering the top 10 in various countries. The song also was helped by the commercial and cult success of alternative rom-com ‘500 Days of Summer’ of which the song featured on it’s incredible soundtrack. The Temper Trap became the festival band of 2010, making several appearances that summer, performing at Glastonbury, V Festival and Oxegen to name but a few. Performing to fans last night at KOKO, WinkBall video reporters Lucio and Tom were speaking to fans and finding out what had brought them down to see the band and their reactions to the show afterwards. WinkBall were also lucky to get a word with lead singer of the band Dougy Mandagi and get his reaction to the gig.
