Joburg Day, in tune with Santam and 94.7,held on the 3rd of September fell on the first official weekend of Spring and promised a gorgeous day out for Joburg inhabitants. This year, Joburg Day, was held in a new location at the Soccer City precinct, set against the backdrop of the iconic Calabash of the FNB Stadium with a very hot line-up of some of South Africa’s most talented acts. The line-up boasted a great mix of established and upcoming artists: Freshlyground, Prime Circle, The APrlotones, Liquideep, The Arrows, Locnville, Elvis Blue, Goodluck, Zebra and Giraffe, Lavuvuzela, Lira and Danny K.
