Event Date: 08/03/2011

The legendary Duran Duran performed as part of their ‘All You Need Is Now’ arena tour of the UK at the intimate Shepherd’s Bush Empire on Monday, 7th March 2011, to a crowd of Pop rock, New Romanticism and 80's music fans. The English New Wave band from Birmingham, formed in 1978, were one of the most successful bands of the 1980s. Since then, they have placed 14 singles in the UK’s Top 10 Singles Chart and have sold more than 100 million records. Band members Simon Le Bon, Nick Rhodes, John Taylor and Roger Taylor, nicknamed “the prettiest boys in rock”, were early innovators and among the first bands to use video technology in their live stadium shows and feature on the then-new music video channel, MTV. After a seven-year absence from the live performance arena in the UK, Duran Duran have returned home to start a world tour that will last well into 2012. WinkBall video reporters were there to speak to fans of the pop legends and find out what they love about the band and their thoughts on their first comeback concert. Tell us what YOU think and record a video below!
