The popular jukebox musical set in the 1980s featuring classing songs from that era the likes of Journey, Whitesnake and Starship has been a smash hit with audiences and it was only a matter of time before the stage production made it’s way on to the silver screen.

Starring the likes of Catherine Zeta-Jones, Russell Brand, Alec Baldwin and Tom Cruise who takes up the role of rock superstar Stacee Jaxx, the film also introduces new faces in the shape of Diego Boneta and Julianne Hough, who play the romantic pairing of Drew Boley and Sherrie Christian of whom their love story is the film’s main focus..
Recently enjoying its world premiere at the Leicester Square Odeon, the film has been met with rave reviews from critics and rock fans alike. On Wednesday 13th June 2012, WinkBall video reporters Darryl and Taneha were in London at the Leicester Square Odeon to speak to fans that had come down to see the film and find out what they thought of the film.
