This video wall showcases WinkBall coverage of a range of events WinkBall Reporters have covered in the month of June, 2011. WinkBall video reporters have been to a variety of sporting, musical and cultural events and much more. Whether it at a product launch, concert, fashion show, sporting event or local opinion event, WinkBall Reporters have spoken to a broad range of people from all walks of lives finding out their views and opinions. Some of our featured highlights this month include: Graduate London Fashion Week, where WinkBall Reporters spoke to the future faces of fashion; television personality Kim Kardashian’s perfume launch, where reporters found out from the punters what they thought of the star’s new product; and music star Sami Yusuf’s Shepherds Bush Empire gig, where we spoke to many of his adoring fans and found out what they love about Sami. In sport, WinkBall Reporters were at arguably the world’s top tennis tournament Wimbledon, finding out each hour, who the players to watch out for were and who fans were looking forward to seeing play. Reporters took to the streets of London to find out local opinion on morning Newspaper City AM and heard what local communities had to say in Holloway about the proposed 25 storey high tower that was to be built in the surrounding areas. Finally, WinkBall were speaking to music fans from small intimate gigs to major festivals including coverage of rock supremoes Toto’s Hammersmith Apollo gig; American rockers Hayseed Dixie at their gig at the Putney Halfmoon Pub (where the band also chatted to WinkBall); and the London Feis Festival, which celebrated the best of folk and Irish music, featuring acts the likes of Thin Lizzy and Van Morrison.
