WinkBall citizen video reporter Alicia captures the passion of those attending the Harringay Food Festival 2011.
The Harringay Food Festival returns for its second year bringing with it a wonderful assortment of sights, smells, sounds and the opportunity to be creative and get your hands dirty. Spanning over two days (17th-18th September), activities and events range from junk model making, a history walk and an open-air film show to musical performances and of course food! The festival is the child of the Green Lanes Strategy Group who has made it their mission over the last nine years to transform Harringay Green Lanes. If the Food Festival is anything to go by, it is safe to say that they are succeeding. The last festival has garnered more than 10,000 visitors and is promised to be even larger this year. WinkBall citizen video reporters Alicia, Jess and Lucy were on hand to capture the passion of those in attendance, finding out why they love the festival and how it contributes to their community.
